Pet Backup
Your flight got delayed. Your dog did not get that memo.
Emergency dog walking, drop-in feeding, and overnight pet sitting booked same-day — for delayed flights, unexpected overtime, hospital visits, and travel that ran long.
- Turnaround
- Same-day, often within two hours. Overnight bookings need four hours notice.
- How pricing works
- Flat rate per visit type and duration, with a same-day surcharge shown before you confirm. Extra pets in the same household are a small add, not a second full booking.

If you need something on this list, send it through the box below — some of it we can arrange, it's just not part of the standard job.
How it works
- Book a visit window and share entry instructions securely
- Sitter sends photo and GPS confirmation of every visit
- Background-checked, insured, and rated on completed visits
Who it's for
- Travelers whose return got pushed and whose dog is home alone
- Anyone working an unplanned late night
- Visitors to NYC who brought a pet and need a few hours free
Questions people actually ask
How does the sitter get in?
You share entry instructions or a lockbox code through the booking, and it expires when the booking ends. Nobody keeps a key.
What if something goes wrong with my pet?
The sitter contacts you first and your nominated vet second. Emergency vet transport can be added to any booking.
Can I get the same sitter each time?
Yes — favourite them after a visit and they're offered your bookings first.
Your situation not covered above?
If what you need is close to this but not quite it — a weird building, an odd hour, a job that spans two of these — describe it here. It goes straight to the founder, and unusual requests are how new services get added.
