Delivery Day Stand-In
Your delivery window is four hours. Your PTO is not.
Someone waits out your delivery window, receives the mattress, couch, or appliance, carries it up, places it, and breaks down the boxes — so a driver never leaves it on the sidewalk.
- Turnaround
- Book as soon as the delivery window is confirmed, ideally 24 hours ahead. Same-day coverage depends on crew availability.
- How pricing works
- Flat price based on the delivery-window length, item size, flight count, and crew size. If the carrier misses the confirmed window, any extra waiting time is shown and approved before it is charged.
- Where
- Manhattan · Brooklyn · Queens · The Bronx · Staten Island

If you need something on this list, send it through the box below — some of it we can arrange, it's just not part of the standard job.
How it works
- Send the retailer, delivery window, item details, flight count, and building instructions
- Your stand-in arrives before the window and checks in with you
- They receive the item, document its condition, place it, and clear the packaging
Who it's for
- Walk-up residents whose delivery includes curbside drop-off only
- Anyone who cannot take a half-day off work for a four-hour window
- People receiving a bulky item before they can get to a new apartment
Questions people actually ask
What happens if the item arrives damaged?
The stand-in photographs the damage and contacts you before signing. They reject it or note the damage only with your instruction.
Can you take away the old mattress or appliance?
Yes when arranged at booking and permitted by the building. Disposal or donation is quoted separately so the right vehicle arrives.
What if the driver only offers curbside delivery?
That is exactly what the lifting crew is for. Tell us the item dimensions and stairs so the booking includes enough people to carry it safely.
Your situation not covered above?
If what you need is close to this but not quite it — a weird building, an odd hour, a job that spans two of these — describe it here. It goes straight to the founder, and unusual requests are how new services get added.
